From winter must-haves to nutrition bars and supplements, here are a few FatFighterTV Finds just out on the (mostly) fitness market. Happy trying-new-stuff!
Limited Edition Manduka PRO – Black Ember
How could Manduka make THE BEST yoga mat even better? By putting a two-toned spin on its signature Black Mat PRO – smoky grey on top and rustic orange on the bottom. The colors are gorgeous. And the quality is as amazing as ever – cushioning your joints on hard floors, even the cement ones at my TGM classes. Made without toxic emissions. Lifetime Guarantee. $104.00
Merrell Women’s Barefoot Life Frost Glove Waterproof Boots
I’m not a fan of winter AT ALL. But Merrell is making the freezing season much more bearable with these awesome slip-on boots. They’re waterproof, insulated to keep your feet warm, and come with Vibram rubber soles. And they have a little arch support for extra comfort. LOVE! Pictured in Charcoal; also available in Black and Port Royale. $125.00
Aquaphor Healing Ointment
Perfect to toss in your gym bag for those winter months – that’s when my skin gets crazy uncomfortable. This ointment is made for very dry, cracked, or irritated skin. It feels a little greasy at first, so I’ve been blotting a little off my hands after I use it, and that seems to work better for me – very soothing. A little goes a long way. You can also use the ointment on cracked feet, chapped lips, and minor cuts and burns. Fragrance-free. $5.99 for a 1.75 oz. tube.
Good Greens Bars
I don’t eat many packaged nutrition bars, but I wanted to try these because they are made here in Ohio. Good Greens have the nutritional equivalence of nine servings of fruits and veggies, plus they are covered in a dairy free dark chocolate. I really liked the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor, and my FFTV tasters enjoyed the other ones like Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Coconut, and Chocolate Mint. A good, healthy snack – 195 calories, 10 grams of protein, 24 grams of carbs, 5 grams of fiber. $29.88 for a box of 12.
Muscle & Fitness Supplement Sampling
Here’s a great way to try the latest supplements without paying for a full-size product. You get 5-7 samples each month – things like protein powders, vitamins, pre- and post-workout supplements. Plus free shipping and a few other Muscle & Fitness perks. $7.50-$15.00 per month, depending on the program and specials offered.
Disclosure: I received complimentary samples of these products.
